Central Regional Minister welcomes iGRED’s Learners’ Forum
As part of preparatory activities for the Learners’ Forum (LeaFo), Founder & Chief Executive of the institute of Gender research, education and development, Noelyne Mensah and team paid a courtesy visit to the Central Regional Minister Hon. Justina Marigold Assan.
The purpose of the visit was to liaise with the Minister pending the programme piloting in the region. The Honorable Minister pledged her support to iGRED on the project to maximize students’ learning experiences to shape them for global leadership.
She also expressed her passion about the mentorship module on Learners’ Forum, as an effective tool to spark a desire for high aspiration among the youth who are future leaders.
Following the visit, Noelyne Mensah, Chief Executive of iGRED, expressed her confidence in the Minister’s support to pave way for the iGRED team to effectively implement their training and workshops that focuses on improving the learning outcomes of poor performing students across the region, as an example to aid the adoption of LeaFo countrywide.
LeaFo aims at moving away from the more traditional mode of teaching and learning. Its focus is improving learning among young people through transformative empowerment that translates into high academic performance, a fulfilling academic journey, wholesome development of their unique talents and exposure to knowledge that will help them make sound career development decisions.
