Cardi B Makes History And Goes Diamond For The Third Time

There are few musical artists that consistently break records and Cardi B is among them. Her musical career has been one that most people can only ever dream of achieving. 

This week, Cardi B continues her record-breaking streak by becoming the first female rapper to earn three certified diamond songs by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). A diamond certification means that 10 million units of the song have been sold.

Cardi B’s single “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin was recently certified diamond by the RIAA making the rapper more iconic in her career. The song, which was a hit when it was released in 2018. There wasn’t a bar or club that wasn’t playing that song on regular rotation.
