Boyfriend Of Murdered CCTU Student Arrested
The lifeless body of a lady discovered at Ola Estate, a suburb of Cape Coast in the Central Region on Friday May 13, 2022 has been confirmed to be level 300 student of Cape Coast Technical University.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Irene Oppong, the body of the deceased, Nana Ama Clark, was found at the roadside by some residents of Ola Estates around 9pm on Friday. She said the police proceeded to Ola Estate after receiving information of a dead female adult found by the roadside naked, with what looks like bruises and her private parts cut off. An eyewitness said “It was so obvious she was killed on purpose by her assailants.”
In the turn-out of events, the police took into custody the lead suspect, Nicholas Ato Bronk Taylor, a 38 year old man who happens to be the boyfriend of the 24 year deceased. He was remanded by the Cape Coast District Court B and is to reappear in court on May 31, 2022.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary undergoing further investigation.
