Black Stars looked well structured and motivated during WC play-offs – GFA President Kurt Okraku
The Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has revealed that the Black Stars sealed qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup because the team looked well structured, better managed and motivated during the final play-off ties against Nigeria.
Ghana secured a 4th World Cup tournament having participated in 2006, 2010, and 2014 in Germany, South Africa, and Brazil after drawing 1-1 against Nigeria in the return leg of the final play-offs at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja last month to seal qualification on the away goals rule.
Ghana will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
