Aggrieved Menzgold customers to embark on protest today over locked-up funds
Aggrieved customers of defunct gold dealership firm, Menzgold will today, Monday September 12, 2022 march to the Jubilee House in a protest to demand action on their locked up investments.
The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold says it’s been exactly 4 years since the firm was shut down without any positive headway on when they are receiving their funds.
The say all efforts made towards retrieving their monies have proved futile.
At the Jubilee House, the group hopes to present a formal petition to President Akufo-Addo for his intervention.
“It is exactly four years since Menzgold was collapsed and for four years, we have done whatever we could but it appears there are no results. So this time around, we want to petition the president for a presidential intervention,” spokesperson of the aggrieved customers noted.
They will at the Customs traffic light at 9am on Monday, September 12, do a walk through the Ministries to the Black Stars Square and hold a press briefing before moving to the Jubilee House .
