42 Suspects arrested for various offences at “Ashaiman to the World Concert”

The Ghana Police Service has announced it has arrested 42 suspects during Stonebwoy’s Ashaiman to the World Concert that was held on Saturday, 3rd August, 2022 through to the early morning of Sunday, 4th August 2022, at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.

According to a statement by the Police Service, the suspects are being held as a result of various offences that took place at different locations towards the end of the concert.

The suspects attacked patrons of the concert with tog guns, cutlasses, Knives, scissors and other offensive weapons.

Items retrieved from suspects included 2 Toy pistols, 10 mobile phones, 5 cutlasses, 5 jack knives, 3 Pairs of scissors, 1 wig and a tablet.

All the suspects according to the service will be taken through the due process of the law.
