2021/22 GPL: Super clash between Hearts and Kotoko scheduled for February 20
Hearts of Oak’s final outstanding game against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko has been scheduled for Sunday, February 20, 2022.
The Super clash was postponed because of the Phobians’ participation in the CAF inter-club competitions which they failed to make it into the group stages after losing in the final playoffs of the Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively.
Samuel Boadu’s side played the first of three outstanding league games of the 2021/22 season on December 29, recording a 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea. Hearts of Oak will play their second outstanding game against Medeama SC at the Akoon park on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

“The Super Clash match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko SC has been scheduled for Sunday, February 20, 2022”
“The Matchweek 7 outstanding match will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium and will kick off at 3pm”
“The fixture was postponed due to Hearts of Oak’s participation in the CAF competition preliminary matches.
“This will be final outstanding match to round up the first round of the 2021/22 League season.”
The defending Ghana Premier League Champions were held to a goalless draw by Bechem United in their match week 11 encounter at the Accra Sports stadium while Asante Kotoko defeated Aduana Stars 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League for the first time in 10 years at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Hearts are 9th on the league table with 14 points, nine points behind Kotoko.
