2021/22 GPL: Hearts coach Samuel Boadu discharged from hospital

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has been discharged from the hospital, the club has confirmed

Coach Boadu was admitted to a hospital in Elmina on Wednesday during Hearts’ game against Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Stadium.

Boadu, according to reports was suffering from an illness. This is the second time the former Medeama trainer has had challenges while on coaching duties in a league game.

Despite the win, Hearts are still in the relegation zone with six points with three outstanding games.

Boadu, who joined won the double last season has come under intense pressure following the club’s results in their participation in the CAF Champions League and the Confederations Cup.

Hearts of Oak will hope to make it two wins from two games when they host struggling Accra Lions at the Cape Coast Stadium on the match week nine of the Premier League.
